Nucleic acid

The macromolecule that usually resposible for storing and/or transmiting genetic information in organisms and viruses. They are typically a polymer made up of long chains of monomer called nucleotides, which could be called a strand.

Here is 2 primary nucleic acids:

• DNA

  The most well-known of all nucleic acid, store and transmit genetic information of most organisms.

• RNA

  Primary occurs for the gene expression process, but still the exist as genetic storage or transmiter.
